What are Users?

All Gridly users have their own login. The account owner can give each user specific permissions such as to use or create documents from templates, to create templates, to approve documents, to access specific workgroup areas, or to administer the account.

What are Templates?

A template is your own custom layout for a type of document such as a product sheet, newsletter, HR ad, poster, or business card. You, your in-house design team, or your agency can create existing document layouts as Gridly templates. Each template can have one or more pages, and unlimited documents can be created from each template. Corporate accounts can have separate templates for separate teams or workgroups.

What are Documents?

A document is a copy of a template, and can have its own unique content added such as text and images. Documents can be stored and organized into folders. You and your team can create and store unlimited numbers of documents within the storage limit for your account. Corporate accounts can have separate document folders for separate teams or workgroups.

What are Image Libraries?

An image library is a collection of JPEG or EPS image files that can be inserted into documents and templates. You may create unlimited numbers of image libraries within the storage limit for your account.

What is Group Access Control?

In a Corporate account plan separate groups within one account can be given access to their own work areas which other groups cannot access. For example HR work areas and templates can be restricted to the HR group only.

What is Approval Workflow?

In a Corporate account plan people editing documents can be allowed to publish them, or may be required to first request approval from a manager.

What is Storage?

Your account's storage is used to store the documents and images created by you and your team.
